For some reason uploading the site from my local machine to server killed the xmlrpc.php file, meaning that Windows Live Writer couldn’t connect to the blog. Sledge hammer workaround: deleted all the files from the server and ran a Fantastico install of WordPress and uploaded my config file – all is now warm and cuddly.

We’ll can the design V1.5 – I think it’s heading the way I want it to go but is a long way from finished.

Have to say though, theming in WordPress is a joy compared to Joomla.
